Camelina oil is a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, with an optimal omega3/omega6 (2:1) ratio and a high content of tocopherols which gives the oil a high oxidative stability. The most abundant omega-3 detected in the oil is alpha-linolenic acid which helps to maintain healthy blood cholesterol levels.
